Keeping up with the flood of new studies on COVID-19 is a daunting task for any clinician. As a service to our members, AAOS is conducting continuous literature searches and collating the most relevant studies for orthopaedic surgeons based on surgical implications. For added value, AAOS includes information related to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and information and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health Guidance, and the World Health Organization Guidance.

Under no circumstances should this list be viewed as AAOS concurring with or endorsing of the study findings, nor has AAOS conducted a systematic review of all surgical literature relevant to COVID-19. The study authors, designs, and data have not been assessed for risk of bias, quality, or accuracy, respectively. Healthcare providers should rely on their own clinical judgment in review and use of these materials.
